Rosemary is a Masters trained Voice, Accent and Dialect Coach with fifteen years experience working in the professional theatre industry. She trained as a Voice Coach at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and as an Actor at ALRA.
She has coached West End Actor's, rising star screen Actor's and holds associations with prestigious drama schools. She holds fellowship from the Higher Education Academy and a PGCERT in Teaching and Learning in the Performing Arts from Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. She has been presented with awards for excellence both as an actor and a teacher.
Rosemary is based in the North West of the U.K but her work has international reach, coaching at the Festivalul International de Teatru de la Sibiu in Romania and undertaking training at The Centre Artistique International Roy Hart in Malerargues, France.
As an Actor she has worked at many of the renowned theatre's in the U.K originating new work as well as performing classics. She draws on this wealth of experience in her coaching, understanding the realities and challenges of an actor’s journey, and offering practical support at every stage.
Her work on stage deeply informs her teaching, where she combines a wide range of methodologies with tangible strategies.
She is an expert in teaching the Standard Accents to Actors- 'Received Pronunciation' and 'General American' and continues to research accessible avenues for teaching these, presenting her research for the Voice and Speech Trainer's Association.
Rosemary’s mission is to help people come home to their voice while also opening up new possibilities for expression. She is passionate about speech and communication, believing that everyone deserves to be heard. While she sees every voice as perfect in its own way, she also knows that developing voice skills can be life-changing both personally and professionally.
